Undergraduate
The Pakistani Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) is not equivalent to the German Secondary School Certificate (Abitur).
To apply for an undergraduate course in Germany, HSSC holders must:
- Complete one year of undergraduate studies at a university in Pakistan in the same field, or
- Attend a foundation course in Germany (Studienkolleg) and pass the Feststellungsprรผfung exam.
Only after meeting one of these requirements can HSSC holders be eligible for undergraduate studies in Germany.
Postgraduate
- A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, equivalent to a German bachelor’s degree.
- Proof of language proficiency, depending on the course language.
- Some universities require internship experience, minimum grades, and additional documentation.
